BLOCK SEMINAR “BUILDING THE SURVIVAL LOUNGE”
for September/October

 

In the seminar we will build the intersectional Survival Lounge (following
Sara Ahmed) in the IfA-workshop in Ackerstraße. We will creatively and
critically transfer the results of the “Designing the Survival Lounge”
Seminar (Summer Term 2020) into the realm of construction and materiality.
The completed lounge will be the venue of the “Inhabiting the Survival
Lounge” Seminar in Summer Term 2021 and part of the Exhibition [FRAU]
ARCHITEKT*IN (June/July 2021).

 

Time: 21st September – 16th October, 2020; Monday through Friday, 9 am
– 6 pm (you have the possibility to be absent one day per week)
Venue: Workshop of the Institute for Architecture IfA at Ackerstraße 76,
13355 _Berlin_, room ACK 060 (Natural Building Lab)
